KES PTO Holiday Shop

Next week, the KES PTO will be hosting a Holiday Shop for students!

The holidays are coming and KES PTO wants to help make the season even more special for your children by giving them the opportunity to shop for the perfect gift for Mom, Dad, grandparents, siblings, and other important people in their lives.

Monday, December 4th – Friday, December 8th
7:30 AM – 3:30 PM Daily

Feel free to come and shop with your child either before school at 7:30 AM or after school until 3:30 PM.  This is a CASH ONLY shop, so no check or debit/credit cards please.

Gifts range in price from $.25 to $13.

Information about the Holiday Shop was sent home with students this week.

1st Grade and 6th Grade Family Night

You are invited to spend the evening enjoying the talents and company of your first grader on Monday, December 4th or your sixth grader on Thursday, December 7th from 6:00 – 6:30 PM, just prior to the music program.

KES Band and Choir Concert

It’s that time of year again!  The 6th Grade Band and Choir Concert is quickly approaching, and we are very excited to feature all of the hard work and progress your students have made so far this year!  Below, are details regarding both Band and Choir aspects of the concert.  If you have any additional questions or would liked any further information, feel free to contact us anytime.  Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Date:  Thursday, December 7th
Time:  7:00 PM
Location:  KES Gymnasium

  • Choir combined rehearsals will be:  Tuesday, December 5th (during class) and Thursday, December 7th at 2:05 PM
  • Band combined rehearsals will be:  Wednesday, December 6th and Thursday, December 7th (during class)  *Please remind your students to bring their instrument these days!

Attire:
A dressy “holiday-themed” outfit.  Boys should have a collared shirt.  Girls are welcome to wear a dress.  If wearing a skirt, please make sure it goes below the knee.  No jeans or tennis shoes, please!  Santa hats and reindeer antlers are encouraged!

REPORT TIME:  6:30 PM!!

Students need to report to their HOMEROOMS at 6:30 PM.  Band students need to take their instruments (with case and all music) with them to their homerooms.  Choir students need to leave their coats and belongings with their families.

6th Grade Choir performs first, followed by 6th Grade Band.

Dismissal:
Choir students will not return to their homerooms; they will be dismissed to their families after the band portion of the concert.  Please be respectful to stay for the band portion of the concert.  Band students will be dismissed to their homerooms to gather their belongings and get their instruments to take home with them.  Families will have their student meet them in the gym after they gather their things.
