Fourth grade students at Kenton Elementary School made vases and Mrs. Stalder (educational assistant) decorated them! The “We Can” kids passed them out at Blanchard Place during their Christmas program!
Great job!
Celebrate Wherever You Are!
On Friday, December 16th students from the KATS (Kenton Association of Traveling Students) Kenton High School and Louise Matthews from the Lion and Lamb Peace Arts Center at Bluffton University led an exciting day of learning in third grade at Kenton Elementary School!
Third grade students learned about holiday celebrations from around the world. High school students led different stations about specific cultures. They read a book to the children and led them in a craft connected to the holidays. All students received a passport for the day and collected “stamps” as they “traveled” around to different stations.

Winter is now upon us and the weather has taken a turn. Therefore, it is essential that your children wear winter coats, hats, and gloves. Snow boots are also necessary now that snow has arrived.
We will be going outside for recess as long as the temperature/wind chill is 20 degrees or higher.
Our students enjoy the fresh air and need to expend energy. Students are not allowed to stay inside unless they have a note from the doctor or their teacher requests they stay in to finish or make up work.
