Kenton Elementary School PTO – Box Tops for Education

Box Tops

Thanks to all our wonderful parents and students, Kenton Elementary School earned over $3500 through the Box Tops program the 2014-2015 school year!

This year, our goal is to raise $4000!

The money that the school receives from the Box Tops program helps to pay for things like our Wildcat Store, field trips, and other incentives for the students.

Box Tops are collected through your child’s classroom every month, so please send in Box Tops whenever you have them ready.  You don’t have to wait for a certain time of year to send them in.

Every month, the classroom with the most Box Tops per grade gets a prize!  At the end of the year, there will be a party for the classroom (in each grade) that collects and turns in the most Box Tops for the entire school year!  So please help your kid’s earn prizes and parties.

We have a very dedicated group of volunteers who help to collect and count Box Tops each and every month so that the school can benefit from getting money that is basically FREE!  You can help to make the collection process as easy and fast as possible for these volunteers by doing the following:

HOW TO SUBMIT BOX TOPS:

  • Trim all Box Tops.
  • Count your Box Tops.
  • Whenever possible, group 50 Box Tops together and place in a Ziplock bag or an envelope.
  • Always include the teacher’s name and the number of Box Tops in each bag or envelope so we know who to give the credit to.
  • Have your child bring the Box Tops to school and turn it in to their teacher.

THAT’S IT!  IT’S THAT SIMPLE TO EARN FREE MONEY FOR THE SCHOOL!

Your student will be bringing home a sheet of paper that lists the products that have the Box Tops logo on it.

If you have questions about the Box Tops program, feel free to contact Teresa Styer, Box Tops Coordinator at Kenton Elementary School at teresastyer31@gmail.com.
